Good custom pens

I ordered custom pens for an event. They arrived on time, took about a week. The logo looked clear. No issues with the order.

Decent custom t-shirts

I ordered custom t-shirts for a family reunion. The design upload process was straightforward and I got a digital proof quickly. Production took a bit longer than I expected, around 10 days, but they did arrive before the event. The quality of the shirts was okay for the price, not super high-end but perfectly fine for a casual event. One shirt had a small printing imperfection near the collar, but it wasn't a major issue since it was just one out of 20. Overall, a practical choice for custom apparel if you're not in a huge rush.

Great value on mugs

I was looking for custom ceramic mugs for my small business and found DiscountMugs. I signed up for their newsletter and got a first order discount, which was nice. The bulk pricing tiers made a big difference too. I compared them to a few other sites and the cost per mug was definitely the best here, especially with the discount applied. The mugs themselves are sturdy and the printing came out well. Felt like I got a really good deal.

Thinking of doing some custom tote bags for an event. How long does it usually take from placing the order to getting them delivered? I need them in about 3 weeks.

K Kate 1 month ago

Production time varies a lot depending on what you're getting and how busy they are. I'd definitely look at their production estimates on the product page. You might need to pay for rush shipping if you're on a tight deadline.

T Tom 1 month ago

They usually give you an estimated production time when you're customizing. Then add shipping on top of that. 3 weeks might be tight, definitely check that proof quickly when they send it.

Has anyone compared DiscountMugs with Vistaprint for custom mugs? Just curious about quality and pricing differences.

B Brett H. 2 months ago

I've used both. Vistaprint felt a bit more user-friendly for design, but DiscountMugs had better bulk pricing for larger orders. Quality was comparable, honestly.

I Ivy 2 months ago

DiscountMugs is usually cheaper per unit if you're getting a ton of stuff. Vistaprint can be good for smaller batches but the price per item can add up fast.

Hey, wondering if anyone's had issues with their custom designs on mugs? Like, does the print hold up in the dishwasher or fade after a few washes?

B Brett 2 months ago

Yeah, I got some custom travel mugs for an event last year. They've been through the dishwasher countless times and still look good. No fading for me.

K Kevin Marsh 1 month ago

It depends on the mug type I think. Some are better than others. My ceramic ones have been fine, but I usually handwash them just to be safe.

how's the return process for custom stuff? My company is looking at some shirts but we're worried about sizing issues once they're printed.

K Kate B. 2 months ago

For custom items, returns are usually tricky. I'd double-check their policy on personalized goods. Most places don't take them back unless it's their error.

E Elena 2 months ago

Yeah, I think their policy states personalized items aren't returnable unless there's a defect or a mistake on their end. Definitely confirm all sizing before you order!

Can you use more than one coupon code on an order? I have a free shipping code and another for a percentage off, hoping to stack them.

R Ryan S. 2 months ago

Nah, pretty sure you can't stack them. I've tried before and it only lets you apply one at checkout, usually the better deal.

D Daisy F. 1 month ago

Most places like this only let you use one code per order. You'll probably have to pick which discount helps you more.

Anyone ordered from DiscountMugs to Canada? Just wondering about shipping times and if there were any weird customs fees or anything I should know about.

J Jared Z. 2 months ago

I'm in Toronto and ordered some water bottles. Shipping was a bit longer than I expected, maybe an extra week or so, and yeah, there were customs fees. Factor that into your budget.

J James N. 2 months ago

Pretty sure they ship to Canada. Always anticipate duties and taxes when ordering cross-border, it's pretty standard.

Do they always give you a digital proof before printing? Just want to make sure my logo looks right before they run everything.

F Faith Doyle 2 months ago

Yep, they totally send you a digital proof. You have to approve it before they start printing, which is great for catching any mistakes.

J James 2 months ago

Yeah, they send a proof. Make sure to check it super carefully because once you approve it, that's what they go with.

Does anyone know if DiscountMugs does a first order discount? Thinking of getting a bunch of pens for my small business and want to save a little if possible.

S Sarah 1 month ago

They totally do! I signed up for their newsletter a while back and got a code for my first purchase. Definitely worth checking that out.

J Julia Beaumont 1 month ago

Yeah, I got one when I first ordered. Keep an eye out on their site, sometimes a pop-up shows up too with a discount if you sign up.
